mp3 store option? on pc

is it possible to store the mp3 file on pc and broadcast via server. rather than keep it in /home/user directory. my point is i will have many dj and i don't what to let them keep the mp3 file on the server.

All the AutoDJ software's background side created by shoutcast.com company and all autodj programs require local mp3 store on the server to run. The program encoded which we can't change the mp3 store to remote that you requested. only shoutcast.com company can do this option if they release new update for autodj background worker in the future.

Unfortunately your request is not in our hands at this time. But we have plan to create website side DJ admin manage system in February 2008 for name.com/radiostatus/. So the DJ's can be stop the autodj without login to cpanel. And DJ's cant edit mp3 stores.

The script would require the .mp3 to be in its 'ownership' which means in the user's directories.

You could get in contact with shoutcast.com and request the feature.
