I have been looking on your site for some documentation on how the functions work within WHMSOnic radio, but found none. Although a lot of the functions are self explanitory, there are some that confues me:

In Automatic Radio Setup Center in WHM, for internal setup, there is a place where you setup Traffic/Bandwidth Limit.

So am I to believe by setting this limit, it will not go against there limit already set in cpanel for their web hosting account?

So if my plans are limited by listeners and not bandwidth, I can set this option to unlimited and cpanel will not add whetever bandwidth is used for the radio and deduct it from there web hosting alottment?

Also, anothr is the Add Reseller function...there is no place to add bandwidth, so i the bandwidth taken from their allotted resources in WHM?

Hello,
These features are fairly new, last week we have released new update. We are current working on new website which is included how to guide's and flash videos, huge F.A.Q center, website is almost done and we will release it as soon as possible we can.

Question:
So am I to believe by setting this limit, it will not go against there limit already set in cpanel for their web hosting account?

A: For the internal customers question and answer true yes, it will not go against there limit already set in cpanel. However WHMSonic also count the radio bandwidth for them for make sure %100 BW usage. For the external customers cPanel does not count, WHMSonic only count and include to WHMSonic bandwidth records + monitor.

Questions:
So if my plans are limited by listeners and not bandwidth, I can set this option to unlimited and cpanel will not add whetever bandwidth is used for the radio and deduct it from there web hosting alottment?

A: If you set unlimited BW for the internal customers, cPanel will still count the bandwidth for the user and add to user total bandwidth usage end of the month. But if you do this for external radio customers since cpanel doesnt count for external users, so they will use unlimited.

Question:
Add Reseller function...there is no place to add bandwidth, so i the bandwidth taken from their allotted resources in WHM?

A: Yes, the resellers can create only internal radios at this time and cPanel count their BW usage details, so you can see their total bandwidth usage in WHM with resellers and resellers customers. If they are exceeded the limits their full reseller account will be suspended by whm/cpanel like webhosting.

Is this the case also if the radios are on a different IP than the hosing accounts? I just want to make sure before enabling a feature for resellers that the system monitors everything in regards to bandwidth use

Yes cPanel will count fine, Internal radios are running under the cpanel_username permissions and cPanel count the bandwidth's by username process under the background, so ip or other details whatever not a problem.

However we are going to put bandwidth limits for WHMSonic resellers in WHMSonic program within upcoming v1.9 version due to external radio creation feature will be enabled for resellers, of course they can use after your permission to them.

For you know, in our experience cPanel counting missing bandwidth like 20 - 50MB for shoutcast radios, this is why we have released bandwidth system for shoutcasts.

You can see the best result in one month for resellers bandwidht usage as you know cPanel count and update the records month to month for exactly results, our v1.9 upgrade will not take one month, you will be able to watch resellers bandwidth usage for shoutcasts in WHMSonic Monitor system.

You can also set the IP's for your WHMSonic resellers by using resellers IP usage feature in WHMSonic. If you need, Please check WHMSonic Tools - Configurations main menu.
