Hello,
WHMSonic IRC Admin software does not support IRCU, but we will focus for all other IRC systems in the future releases.

Here is the some features:

First of all we will bring a new age for hosting world, you will be able to setup following IRC services without providing SSH access to user account, IRC service providers know that giving SSH access is a big problem for server security, well you dont need with WHMSonic, you can disable all SSH features also secure your server fully like only webhosting.

This will save the servers from botnet attacks, viruses, exploits. Most of the lead datacenters does not allow IRC on their datacenters, we believe in the future they may allow with WHMSonic. Because their difficulty is same giving SSH access to uninformed users and they cause to exploits + bot net attacks from their datacenter, but with WHMSonic this is impossible.

- Unreal 3.2.7 Supported.
- Unreal Module Setup
- Anope
- IRCServices
- Eggdrop + useful Bots
- DDOS Protection

- Automatic WHMSonic protection for botnet and exploit problems, this is internal protection if the IRC owner or anybody load botnet or exploit to their IRC WHMSonic will block it. (Saving your dedicated server.)

- Ad. Protection
- Bad words Protection
- Quit messages protection
and there are more costimizable protections available during the unreal setup, you can enable or disable protections by only clicking.

- Able to choose language for unreal + services during the setup
- Manage IRC servers from cpanel or WHM root.
- Add/remove/edit Oper's from WHM or cPanel
- Manage service root admins
- Easy to edit all config *.conf files from WHM root.
- Able to start all IRC servers + Services by clicking one button after server reboots.
- Automatic start after server reboot (Optional)

There are some other features included, we will share them after release. We may disable some of them in the beta testing.

WARNING: Please be advised before interested to this software:
Most of the datacenters and dedicated providers does not allow IRC on their networks, and using IRC may cause ABUSE if your datacenter does not allow IRC. You may contact your datacenter and learn this before interested to WHMSonic IRC Admin !

I host predominantly ircu/gnuworld based networks, and i'd be quite happy to write my own modules which could be called by whmsonic, if of course its supported.

Yes we have that request custom module for unreal, which means like http://www.unrealircd.com/modules.php Of course if we will support ircu/gnuworld there will be a custom module add option.

This feature will be included to v1.2 or v1.1 stable, not in beta.

I know there are many people can't wait for this product release. But we would rather, have a better product than a sooner release. This is why we're working on it hard.

Exact Release Date: 26.April.2008 (Saturday Night) - This week.

We're currently doing some tests on different linux systems, centos, fedore etc.. Which is important.

Just a little bit patience few days left, after beta test release we would like to hear your suggestions and bug reports and new feature requests. I'll open report and suggest forum section for WHMSonic IRC Admin.

We're going to release it in the next couple of hours, The team does not sleep yesterday they have been work for 18 hours on WHMSonic IRC Admin, I've been sleeping I just wake up and the rest actions are mine 07.15 California Morning here. I will be in the office and release this software as fast as I can within 4-5 hours.

We have team members from different countries which allows us to make 24/7 support, but not 24/7 development.

Correct, If I'm not wrong you're from Australia, only webmaster David is close to you.
However the staff is online at support portal only http://www.whmsonic.com/support we have 20 - 35 ticket average per day. Sometimes only I've checking this forum or some mods if they have a time, we are always focusing on tickets, emails and are really working hard.

@capo, I've send PM to you please check. We've 15 beta testers for WHMSonic IRC Admin software. They have received my PM or email regarding beta license and setup.

By the way, for beta testers please make sure 6667 to 7005 port ranges are open in the firewall, otherwise irc setup will fail.

They will make first 48 hours beta test and after that we will release first public beta version for everybody. You will be able to activate your free beta license.

Beta Testers, please do not open suggest or bug report forum threads, after 48 hours we will create a forum section for that when the public beta released and you will be able to post.
