Thank you for your interest in WHMsonicSAP.
Max will get back to you regarding this since he's the project developer.

Hello Cody,
Unfortunately, AutoDJ is support only mpeg encoder. AutoDJ background program has been created by shoutcast.com company like sc_serv shoutcast. It is encoded software which we can't change some features like that.
by the way AutoDJ 64 KBPS Mono encoder is fine, of course AAC is the best but the best sound quality is 64 KBPS mono for autodj at this time.
If there is anything we can do to be of assistance, please let us know.

I see you guys have a new update and all the features look totally amazing :). Great work!
As for my original question in my first post, is this possible now? I seen a line in your notes saying something about AAC support now which is why I'm asking :).
Hello,
Yes, AAC+v2 AutoDJ software under development and will be available in this summer. It will be first for the shoutcast world. Functions are ready it was successfully on our tests, we're just waiting AAC sound support from Adobe for flashplayers and interface will be designed.

Why you dont implementation someting like Stream Transcoder V3 for the AAc ?
Why you dont implementation someting like Stream Transcoder V3 for the AAc ?
Our New AutoDJ has AAC+ encoders, there is no need extra transcoders. The problem is that Adobe company FlashPlayer does not support direct AAC streams yet, they have software for dedicated servers starting from 1000$ for each server. We know there is a way with transcoders to flashplayers but current AutoDJ is using too much cpu and it is enough. We already tested extra transcoders to flashplayer, it makes more load on the server due to double transcoding.
There are several users provides radio on their websites by using flashplayers + AutoDJ. So only winamp support AAC+ stream. This is why we are waiting.
It looks like new flashplayer will takes time, we're trying to find out a solution for flashplayers as best we can.
We will have a good solution as soon as possible, we are current working on it. I just wanted to give a public news about that, all the team are busy with this job on these days.
Thank You.

My impression or are facing an obstacle that there is even forecast for your solution? You have at least one forecast by Adobe or is there a time limit for waiting from you about this release of Adobe?
That is the most important at the moment and that has not been explicit.
I do want to provide clear release date but Adobe company did not provide any release date for their FlashPlayer. We hope that it will be soon. We're also waiting for new flashplayer like all other shoutcast control panel developments.
This is for Adobe FlashPlayer. Our own solution not ready yet, approx date December or January 2009. We will release this feature as fast as we can.
Patience appreciated.
