WHMCS Module Patch Update !

This is an important patch update for WHMCS WHMSonic module and requires manual action.

Following Bugs Are Fixed:
- WHM package name problem: the module does not detect or use whm package name that you already set in WHMCS shoutcast package module settings, and it was creating unlimited hosting accounts. This problem is now completely fixed. [Fixed]

- Module does not show error reports if account has not been created. [Fixed]

New Feature/Option:
- Traffic limit: you have to have traffic limits in your WHMCS shoutcast package module settings otherwise WHMSonic will create unlimited BW shoutcast radios. Please configure all your packages.

How to upgrade/patch:
Download the attached file whmsonic.zip to your computer from this thread. Unzip it and upload only whmsonic.php file to your WHMCS /modules/servers/whmsonic folder. Remove old one or replace it in the FTP. That's it! Check your WHMCS shoutcast packages module settings for traffic limits now.

First of all you must have WHMCS software installed, This is WHMSonic WHMCS software part. WHMCS Software (http://www.whmcs.com (http://www.whmcs.com)), you will upload your WHMCS software to your website FTP, or you have already one.

The root FTP folder:
/home/cpanelusername/public_html/whmcs_folder/modules/servers/whmsonic

I'm running whmcs 3.6.2 and there is a module for the whmsonic already available but it's not in the extra module folder. I guess if you don't know I'll ask at whmcs but has the patch available for download been already integrated into the latest version of whmcs?

Okay, we will check the module for new WHMCS releases. We are focusing on new AutoDJ release on these days, after the new release we will focus on all billing softwares. Also we have a new billing software module upcoming.

Today we have checked WHMCS 3.8.1 WHMSonic module and it is working fine. Anyone who has a problem, please submit a technical support ticket.

Most of the time, we found incorrect configurations on users WHMCS WHMSonic server, such as incorrect root password, SSH keys in the SSH remote key area which is not required and cause issues.

Another notice: Please make sure your WHMCS and WHMSonic softwares are in the same dedicated server, it does not support remote connections.
