Hi,
How would you have a domain name represent your listening url www.ip:port?
Some users want to give out a domain name instead of the radio ip and port
Thanks
Hello,
Your internal shoutcast customers can give domain url for their radios instead of ip. Because internal users have webhosting on your server and they have active domain.
Example;
Your user domain on the server is sonicradio.com and they have shoutcast with port 8045 so the user can give this url to their listeners or website links
http://www.sonicradio.com:8045 OR http://www.sonicradio.com:8045/listen.pls
Note: The port must be provided on any url domain or ip no matter.

Think i got it figured it out now,
You can't use a domain name instead of the listening url for an external account, because there's no
hosting with an external account so no domain name or sub domain has been asigned to that account.
You have to creating a cpanel account with a sub domain or a domain name first,
Then create an internal shoutcast account and adding that to the cpanel account.
Then i can use www.domain.com:radioport or subdomain.domain.com:radioport as the listening url :)
