Hello everyone,

Well I just got our beta license to start testing this add on it could mean a whole new client base for us. But first a couple questions.

1. Once installed where are the un-install files located? (just incase it does not work out for use)
2. Will IRC only run on port 6667 and 7000, or can we configure it to run on which ever port we like?
3. Which ports will shoutcast run on, and also can it be configured to run on which ever port we choose?
4. What skins will it work with, will it work with RVSkin?

Thank you for your help and looking forward to installing this great looking app.

Hello James,
1. Once installed where are the un-install files located? (just incase it does not work out for use)
A: We have uninstall script same as setup script, we only provide this script if you email us about it, its also automatic like setup.

2. Will IRC only run on port 6667 and 7000, or can we configure it to run on which ever port we like?
A: IRC servers using IP's, ports are not important for irc servers all irc servers require 1 free ip and you cant setup multiple irc to 1 ip. also when you setup irc with whmsonic or manuel no matter irc system unreal detect free ports which is range in 6667 to 7000 area. However you can configure and force customer irc to use any port with using WHMSonic conf file modification feature this will alow you to edit unrealircd.conf with whmsonic. Otherwise maybe you want do this when you setup, like radio setup choose port option we will put this option to irc version of whmsonic with next version v1.0.5 current version is v1.0.2 Note: I suggest to use 6667-7000 port range because this is world standart all mirc clients try connect to port 6667. And other programs using other ports exp: radio's using 7000 to 9000.

WHMSonic have portcheck system, its secret system running under the setup checking ports real time already used or not, this system cover everybody from port confision. But I suggest to everybody must be make little list like
my irc ports on my server: 6667 - 7000
my radio ports on my server: 8000 - 9000

3.) Which ports will shoutcast run on, and also can it be configured to run on which ever port we choose?
A: ShoutCast install system, same you are asking you need to choose port when you try setup shoutcast with whmsonic. If you open shoutcast install page on the whmsonic you will see the page asking port. Also there is suggest on the form says use 8000 - 9000 ports its only example and suggest you can use ever ports, but I warning you be careful with choosing ports out of the range 8000 to 9000 linux systems using some other ports. But this will not create any big problem its just your radio will not work and you will uninstall it re-install it to another port again.

4.) What skins will it work with, will it work with RVSkin?
A: At this time WHMSonic Add-On only working with our own xsonic skin or x skin default whm.
But we have plan for future, leave x skin and skin's then move whmsonic to another port like " http:// IP : 2089 " or " http:// IP /whmsonic/ " because skins are make problems for us and for you we have experiance on beta testers, also whmsonic coming for another panels soon, directadmin, plesk, helm and windows version.

I hope I provided good informations to you and help. If you have any suggest please let us know on this section: http://www.whmsonic.com/forum/index.php?showforum=15 we are making our destiny with suggestions.

If you have any other question please let us know.
Thank you.
